Circle in a Square
Circle in a square…..experiment in terror. Nothing is more frightening (and exhilarating) than turning a chunk of square wood!
The square piece of Purpleheart and its round base are one piece of wood. First, I turned a cylindrical hole in the (deadly spinning) block of Purpleheart. Then I turned a cylinder of Yellowheart and dropped it in the square. Then I turned the Yellow to its bowl shape, flipped it over and turned the Purple block down to create a round base. Got all that? A fun place to keep your keys and cuff links.
